What is YOUR graffiti?
Will you weave a network of fibers on the gas station bathroom mirror? Will you arrange a stone portal at the base of the park bench? Will your poetry grace the back of a napkin at the ice cream take-out window? Will you draw your anatomical heart on the sidewalk at the corner of North and Main? How will you dare to dig deep into your own creative expression and let it loose in the world?
I have a great love of noticing what sounds cool to me but feels scary. I am drawn to pushing edges and daring myself around personally held boundaries. Fear based boundaries. I grow tired of being quiet.
A few months ago I told Umber about this idea. Graffiti. What I wanted to do was to explore a daily practice of unabashed creation. And then I wanted to take whatever was created and place it somewhere in my geographical community. And, I didn’t want to do it alone. I wanted a group of us, writers, artists, seekers, livers, question askers, beauty bringers, introverts and extroverts to all show up in our local community. Maybe named and maybe anonymously. I love social media but I am weary of social media standing in for reality. I want to reground in the actual earth and space around me. I want to spark back into the people and places I can actually see, touch, feel, smell, and breathe in. I want to dive into a different way of creating and being. Umber listened to my idea and agreed whole heartedly, “Hell yes. Me too.” And Resonant Graffiti was born.
So, we simply invite you to join us. We gather together in the name of Creation and Dissemination for one rebel fired week of inspiration and connection. This seven day experience is primarily shared through private website and daily live interactive video (periscoping). During our time together we will daringly split ourselves open and discover what we are moved create each day. And we will emerge - to decorate our own geographical communities with these tangible pieces of our truth.

Whatever your medium may be (poetry, prose, watercolor, silver, nature mandala, fiber, crayons…) we want you to move through the edges of your fear and into the space of daily, truth drenched, meaningful creation. The stuff that makes your own heart flutter and clench.

We want you to use your singular tangible creations to decorate your local community. Put a love story up at the coffee shop. Leave a weaving on the public library bulletin board. Slide a water color under a neighbor’s door. Tape a poem to a telephone pole. Create an installation piece for the bus stop.
Place your voice vision work IN the world. ANNOUNCE YOUR EXISTENCE.

We will also encourage you to share your own resonant graffiti experience with your friends, family, followers and network of magic makers to inspire others. Right work belongs in the world. Creation that taps back into the places we live brings all kinds of energy to our local communities. We are called to brave shifts in the world. You are a bringer. Let’s bring it.

Kelly Clark is the visionary fire behind UmberDove, an artistic amalgamation of silversmithing and light weaving, painting and soul diving, word crafting and childlike wonder. She believes deeply in the creative potential of humanity, stands in the truth that we all hold a bright spark of imagination, and feels that art is but a storytelling of our experience. robin e. sandomirsky is a writer, healer and guide who lives in small town New England with her children and four leggeds. She has equal love for headstands, free form balance work, green smoothies, bacon cheese burgers and rye. She has a BA and an MA in Counseling Psychology and is a certified Yoga Instructor. She lives as a luminary explorer, freedom igniter, and warrior blooded game changer. She is guided in all ways by the beacons of Truth, Velocity, and Embodiment combined with a deep belief that you deserve.
